Employment?

i'm trying to get a job at dairy queen, do you think this is a good place to work? (i'm 16 years old) how much can i expect to get payed, min? what kind of positions do they have or does one person do all the different things? would i have to work on halloween?

Employment?
Why are you asking this in "religion and spirituality" -- did god tell you to go work at Dairy Queen? ;-)

They pay minimum wage to start. You'll do lots of jobs -- you can possibly move up to shift manager after a while, which pays a little better. And the schedules are set by the store manager, but since you're new I'd say the odds would be good you'd work Halloween night.
Reply:((hugs)) you're in the wrong category, hon.

I'd love a job at DQ, cause Blizzards are yummy...but I'd be 5000 pounds if I worked there.

Probably minimum wage, you probably learn all of the jobs, and you might have to work on Halloween, depending on where you live. In colder places, sometimes the DQ shuts down when it gets cold.

I'd try to get a temp-to-perm job from a temp agency, food service isn't fun. =) Good luck!
Reply:the reason you ask this question in the r%26amp;s section is because that is where I am right, God must be guiding your hand.

one of my employees works at Dairy Queen part time to save money to buy a house.

she really likes it and the wage depends on the owner or manager,

some pay more than minimum.

in her case she gets paid more.

you get to learn all the different jobs. and will get good work experience.

you probably will have to work holidays but that is up to management.

I set my schedule according to days of the week not holidays.

and only give holidays off on special occasions.
Reply:If your still asking if you have to work on Halloween, then your not mentally mature enough to get a job yet. Go ask your mom for a buck or two! Why did you place this in religion?
Reply:Take look at these websites, that might give you a start.
