How can i consider the employer’s point of view when i am looking employment?

When i am looking for employment i would like to learn how i can better understand and be able to consider my potential employer's view . What are the ways i can do that?

How can i consider the employer’s point of view when i am looking employment?
Research the company. Find out who their competition is, what industry they sell to, and try to figure out what they are thinking. If you are looking at a particular department, try to find out about turnover and anything else you can about them, their needs and vision. Some of this you can do in an interview.

Before you interview ANYWHERE research the company, go to the library, do a Google search on key employees, read the company web site, and get a feel for them. You would be surprised at how many people go to interviews blind without doing any research at all.
