Will i get a paycheck if i was fired for failing to meet pre employment requirements?

I went to orientation for 2 and a half weeks, and then was fired for not meeting pre employment requirements. Will i still get a paycheck for the time i worked?

yes you should cause either way you still worked
Reply:you should, you were an empployee, so they owe you the money
Reply:Yes, they need to pay you for the time you were there even if it was training.
Reply:If this was a paid orientation, then yes. If not, then no. You would need to check with the employer and find out. You should have known this though before starting with them to begin with.
Reply:Read your contract, it should say so. I would assume that you were paid something for your time.
