I have to account for 10 years of my employment, and don't remember all the facts clearly. Is there some way I can get a list of the jobs I've maintained?

Sometimes this information is located on your credit report. At least it would be a good place to start. You can get all 3 of your credit reports for free once a year at www.annualcreditreport.com. Another place to check would be your tax returns (assuming you filed them). If you have kept them, they should list the various places that you have earned income over the past 10 years. If you need copies of your tax returns, you can request them from the IRS.
