What is the legal age of employment in Ontario?

I've been trying to get a job lately, im almost 14, but i keep getting turned down, what is the ACTUAL age of employment in Ontario?

I think from age 16 I stay in ontario and I know people that age that work in walmart, mcdonalds and so on
