How come the majority of internships that lead to employment are taken by non-americans?

I just did a report for my boss. 98% of internships that lead to full time employment are foreigners. Out of 800 current applicants 85 percent are foreign? Why do you think that is?

How come the majority of internships that lead to employment are taken by non-americans?
aside from foreigners are hardworking and dedicated to their work, also the salary rate of foreigners are not equal compared to Americans thats why it is now common that major companies outsource their job to companies who offer the services of the same quality and quantity but cheaper labor cost.
Reply:Usually that is due to the fact that foreigners work harder than Americans. They are grateful for the job and the opportunity and bend over backwards to make the boss happy.

Face it. Most young Americans expect that the world owes them a living and are just plain lazy.

A sad, but true fact.
Reply:Americans are lazy
Reply:Where did you find these statistics? I highly doubt they are accurate. Foreign students have to have visas to even go to school here let alone become employed (in the case of paid internships). If a company wants to hire someone who does NOT have the legal right to work in the USA they have to sponsor an H1B visa (usually, depends on the country they are from) which is expensive, time consuming and a complete waste of time for an internship.
